AlThana Development Foundation is a non-governmental organization established on September 12, 2023 with permission from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Taiz in response to the urgent need to improve living conditions and promote sustainable development in local communities in Yemen, especially in light of the current social and economic challenges.

General objectives

1- Enhancing transparency and accountability through the application of good governance principles to ensure effective and fair management.

2- Developing livelihood opportunities by providing training and financial support to young men and women and enabling them to improve their income and increase employment opportunities.

3- Providing and facilitating access to adequate shelter and implementing protection activities for affected communities and the most vulnerable groups.

4- Strengthening the public role of women and equality and social justice for all members of society, including those with special needs.

5- Improving the quality of life by providing services and programs aimed at improving health, education and infrastructure, which contributes to the well-being of society.

6- Enhancing community participation by encouraging communities to participate in effective projects in decision-making and development policies.
